holidays

Holidays are:

·         Eating and drinking way more than you do in ‘normal land’
·         Wearing your hair in a messy bun everyday cause your on holidays
·         Smelling of coconut sun cream
·         Giggling with friends
·         Not wearing any make up
·         Wearing thongs everyday everywhere
·         Staying up late and sleeping late
·         A clam relaxing feeling
·         Saying ‘ I wished I lived here’ or ‘I don’t want to go home (yet)’ at least twice a day
·         Coming home with a big smile on your face and a tan mark
·         Something we all dream of

Spring

Today finally feels like spring after 'winter - the extended remix'. I love seeing these potted decorations in beautiful spring colours around Sydney, it really brightens up the place :)

Bouncing back

After last week’s tough week it has been difficult to bounce back and move forward. I’ve been going through the motions but I still don’t feel like me. I’ve been doing the things that make me happy such as training with my lovely trainer Kim, shopping, eating out, getting my nails painted and reading inspiring blogs. I do not feel like the usual things have helped.

I hope this weekend away for Miss Tanya’s birthday will be the cure to this feeling. I am looking forward to singing in the car on the drive up, feeling the sun on my skin, giggling with friends and the relaxing spa package we have booked into.  Most importantly I’m looking forward to getting back to me.

allocated seating at the cinemas…is it really that hard?

Is it just me or do you also find when you go to the cinema’s that there is always a commotion about people being in the wrong seats?? What is so hard about finding and sitting in the seat number that is printed on your ticket?

There are quite a few helpful hints that make this easier for everyone, if you haven’t seen them let me clue you in:
·    There is a map near the door of the cinema showing you the layout with the row and seat numbers clearly marked (subject to vandalism)
·    The row letters are clearly marked at the end of the row/ stairs (subject to vandalism)
·    The seat numbers are again clearly marked on the cup holders on every seat (subject to vandalism)
·    You get to choose where you seat whether it be when you purchase your tickets online or when you get asked by the person serving you ‘front, middle, back?’
·    If you are still unable to find ‘H-19’ then  ask a friendly staff member to help you

So please take note of these helpful hints next time you go to the cinema and if all this fails then just wait till the movie comes out on DVD J

tough week

Please excuse my absence the past few days… it was a tough week. It was personally one of the most emotionally draining weeks of my professional career and something that I do not want to relive anytime soon.

Thankyou to those who listened to me rant and those who bought me many drinks. I am feeling a little better thanks to your help and support.
